This is the logo of @TeruelFoods . It explains our natural motto and how simple good living should be. Never forget it !!!
It tries to evoque a passport stamp as I’m pretty sure you have not heard of #Teruel and part of out brand is the excitement of learning by travel (maybe only mentally).
The 2 faces are based on the story of Teruel Lovers. They’d call it drama on the tellie, but we just thing is a story of love and passion. That’s how we are.
There are more details to be clarified about this logo, so please, ask, but anyway we’ll keep posting about it.

In the town of Alba in Piedmont they sell chocolate and call them truffles as well. They may find it funny, but I don’t see why none realize that this is a fake name. Those are chocolate balls, not truffles, sorry. You can see they want to pretend 3 different kind of truffles … This is not something we like at Teruel Foods at all.

I wonder if you ever seen a real truffle hunter dog … Do you think Charlie is one of them ?? I can tell you he’s very quite and nice !!!
I can see some differences in the dogs depending on the truffle they harvest … Going to keep those secrets for me … but the dog is here !!!
Beef bacon truffled lasagna. If you want the #recipe, drop us a line. It was a tasty one. The bechamel on top was also truffled and the meat mix was cooked with some pork foie … Probably not very healthy, but I’m sure you are you are already salivating !!!
Not a difficult recipe either. Let’s say 55% Teruel way of life only !!!
It started with a lot of inquiry from customers (restaurants and wealthy private) and also with silly prices. It’s not the best season in terms of quality and on the other hand it’s one of the most expensive ones, sorry, it doesn’t help anyone. The fact the Euro currency remains very strong despite all the volatility in the financial markets is not helping to push the price down at all. And I think that was the only way to push prices somehow down, but just forget it.
Regarding the white truffle, the sizes have been amazing so far and that will continue until we finish. On the Uncinatum, the size until this week has been small and with such a price not really appealing to people.
At the moment we are on the very best of the season for both, so don’t expect quality or price to get better, not even a pinch. What you have seen is what you can get in the best case.
Melanosporum (black winter truffle) season to start in 3 weeks and no, the season won’t be the best either. In general blame the weather and climate change. I already have a 20 kg order for the first week it’s available, so again … this product it’s more about supply than demand … So why I try to keep my customers happy? Don’t know, just call it passion, Teruel lovers attitude or Teruel way of life !!!
Talking numbers : Magnatum sells this week for £4.500 Kg and Uncinatum £750 Kg. On Magnatum I just sell pieces over 20 grams, for smaller pieces expect lower prices.
First of all … find it in @coolhunting … I know the iPhone is not for everyone and I’m not getting paid for showing this. But I like a lot the idea of improving quality of life a little bit, everyday. That’s Teruel way of life and I see our values represented, I show it as well.

Close to Tower Bridge Road in London, down the arches of the train, during the weekends you can buy veggies from a wholesaler and you have a decent range of mushrooms there. Pretty likely I’ll go there tomorrow and pick some to enjoy a food fest this weekend !!!

They say there is always a first time for everything, even for smiling and here we go, we have just joined Tumblr to post in an ongoing basis what we are working on.
When you come from the middle of nowhere the world becomes a big place. At the beginning you just think everything outside the shell is as fantastic and what is surrounding you, it’s normal everywhere. Then you learn people do things in different ways. After that, you sometimes see things are fashionable for a short period of time only, but you wonder why certain actions/attitude to live are not always fashionable and the ones we should all do.
Teruel is the province in Spain where this story started. We have passion for the things we do, Teruel Foods wants the world to be a bit more like those things that should always be right to do: Teruel way of life is sustainable with the communities, it’s about having a healthy attitude to live not only in food, but to make life a bit better for everyone. Teruel Foods is about anything environmentally friendly that helps people living, not an ECO label meaning nothing really.
We are specialized in all the products from the area, but it’s the search of quality what we want in the end for our customers, the loyalty and trust between each other has to come together.
As a major dealer of truffles to mainly UK restaurants you’ll read about fresh truffles many times. Hopefully, our special Extra Virgin Olive oil will be available in supermarkets shortly. But the story will eventually grow with other products and countries and as they say here, all the rest will be history.
